  They didn't offer a half a star. After our family's experience this past weekend we looked up reviews to see if others had experienced the same at this camp ground. The only reason I could understand why anyone would post a positive review would be because they had no interaction with the management or staff. Just got through cancer and wanted to spend a weekend with my 3 professional adult children, one who is heavily pregnant and my grandaughter. I was fortunate to escape an abusive husband and father of these children but what we experienced from the owners and staff was the same. These people are abusive, discriminatory and are an example of the antithesis of what reasonable decent human interaction should be. They are using their privilege as a platform for hurting unsuspecting family people. Surely in our society there should be checks on this type of thing but it is a privately owned campground so it seems they are using this fact to create some type of little totalitarian dictatorship. If you like crazy and haven't had enough during your modern day work week by all means go and enjoy. Just don't be surprised when an angry older couple uses your family, precious free time and resources to work out some weird and clinical personal injury to ruin your vacation. Specifics not needed as all the accurate one star ratings above perfectly describe our experience here. Please don't make our mistake of going to all the trouble of organizing everyone's schedules, train travel, hours of car travel, preparations and happy expectations only to be ripped off financially and subjected to a whole lot of crazy.
